    This lot includes 14 large uniform buttons that were worn by Pullman Porters, a group of African American men who worked as attendants on sleeping cars in the United States during the early/mid-20th century. The buttons are approximately 1 inch in diameter and feature the iconic Pullman Palace Car Company logo. The history and cultural significance of these buttons make them a unique and valuable addition to any collection of Black Americana or railroad memorabilia.
