FOR SALE IS A RUG THAT I HOOKED. THIS ADAPTATION WAS TAKEN FROM A WATERCOLOR DRAWING (CA. 1795-1800) BY FRACTUR ARTIST JOHN CONRAD GILBERT (1734-1812). THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE THE EARLIEST KNOWN PORTRAYL IN AMERICAN ART OF THE MYTHICAL "EASTER RABBIT". JOHN CONRAD WAS FROM BERKS COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA. THE RUG MEASURES 27" X 22". I HOOKED IT AND PUT IT IN MY CUPBOARD OF RUGS THAT I HAVE MADE. IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED. NO RETURNS AND NO SALES OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S.
