    Description

    Rare original antique engraving from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
    It depicts a mother Newfoundland dog holding a toy for her playful puppies. The mother and one of the puppies is Lanseer colored.
    The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture area measures about 7.5 x 6 inches, with a French caption below. The text on the page could easily be trimmed before framing, or hidden under a window mat.
    The page is in excellent condition for its age.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
