This is an exquisite original antique print from the early 1880s, making it about 125 years old! It is HUGE! The page size is 10.5x13.75 inches (image area about 9x12 inches). It was originally bound into an 1880s art book. The exceptionally large size and heavy-weight paper makes it quite rare for the era, and particularly suitable for framing.
The picture depicts a lovely woman holding up a newfoundland puppy, as the Landseer and Black parents, two more pups and a lazy cat watch. BEAUTIFUL! It is a wonderful view of the breed las ooked in your great-great-grandfather's era! Beneath the picture is the title TEASING PUPPY'S MAMMA.
PLEASE NOTE: There are stains in the margin of this print, but they do not cross over into the picture area.
It is printed on heavy weight paper with a cream tone.
